The Zed (or
Djed), is the most important symbol of Egypt. It is also known
as "the spine of Osiris" or "Tower of Osiris." It too is a
powerful talisman and is also one of the most sacred. So far
the archaeologists have never managed to fully understand
the true meaning of Zed, but found some papyrus dating at
the time of Pharaoh Cheope is written that "if from a firm
world someone had wanted to communicate with man on the Earth,
should do through the Zed". The Greek mythology speaks of
Ulysses that felt the words of his died mother through this
tower, the old saying in fact to hear the voices of spirits
recover from Zed. We know today that this huge pillar lies
within the great pyramid (as we read in the Hollow
Earth article). Very probably, just like our high-tension
masts, the Zed issued energy and also served as the antenna.
Only fantasy?

More recent studies have associated the Zed
to the sound and its magnetic properties. The megalithic building
on top of the so-called Chamber of the King of the Great Pyramid
of Giza is supposed to be a technologically advanced device
that can emit an unknown power. In this perspective the pyramids
would be real power-plant ante litteram able to supply power
to the whole Egypt. For the pharaohs the Zed was a symbol
of this power and was at the center of various religious functions.
