| Derivation
of Udjat and probably of the Eye of Ra too, the All-seeing Eye
is another Masonic symbol and is shown in several American monuments,
and between one dollar banknotes. The symbol consists of a triangle
with an eye inside ("the Eye of God") overcoming, just like
a piramidion, a truncated pyramid. Obviously symbolism of Egyptian
origin, but that interpretation has been heavily criticised
by some fanatical supporters of conspiracy theories, which see
around it the eye of Lucifer, the angel's eye revoked from which,
according to legend, was carved the Holy
Grail. |

This conspiracy vision
says that the planet is in the hands of a group of Satan Followers
whose the purpose is to destroy Humanity. Principal actors of this
infernal comedy would the Aristocracy, Banks and power groups belonging
to the Bavarian Illuminated, a revolutionary organisation whose
the purpose (according to these supporters of cospiracy theories)
is the global domination through the chaos. But the All-seeing Eye
only shows the eye of God who sees everything and intervenes where
necessary. A concept of Pantheism very close to the line of thought
of the first Masonic, as was George Washington.

(Left) Contrary
to the affirmations of the fanatic cospirationists, the All-seeing
Eye is deeply tied to Christianity. This symbol is represented
on the front of many churches, especially of the Baroque period
or the eighteenth; is present even in the Vatican, as shown
this fresco (side) depicting Venus surrounded by angels, which
in the hands holds a wand and a Uroboros, while above two
other angels exalt the All-seeing Eye surrounded by a circle,
that is sending its energy to the Goddess. An esoteric and
pagan symbolism that contrasts sharply with the orthodox ideas
that have always characterized the Catholic Church. |
