Mineral
lovers are notable experts of the stones and of as they are
formed. If for almost all the formalities of creation of the
various types they are known, separated among metamorphic rocks,
sedimentary and magmatics, is a type that challenges all the
hypothesis of it.
The Moqui Marbles in fact are a true mystery for all the geologists:
despite the various theories, nobody seems convincing. These
strange minerals also called Iron Balls, Indian Balls, Navaho
Cherries or stones of the shamans for their spiritual value,
would seem at first sight of artificial nature. They are of
spherical form, the rough and hard surface a great deal: they
have a diameter that goes from the 2-3 cms to the 20-30 around.
The zone where these spheres have been recovered is found in
the desert of the United States among the state of the Utah
and the north of the Arizona, at the base of the Navaho Sandstone,
a system of formations of blocks of sandstone.
The age esteemed of these "little balls" it is between
the 120 and the 190 million of years, to the beginnings of the
Jurassic era . |
| (To
the left) The Moqui Marbles is spheres of emathite "full" of
flinty sand, with a nucleus of stone sandstone, as can be seen
in the samples broken in two. |
The external part is composed of ematitis (iron oxide),
to the inside instead there is a thin mixture of silicius, a type
of coral colored sand, while to the center of this there is a small
sphere of sandstone. According to the official theory of the geologists,
rather bizarre, the Moquis would be formed when the original dunes
of sand, subsequently turned themselves into actual Nevada Sandstone,
they were under the sea. The iron in origin was probably in the form
of limonite that, submitted to great pressures, to a depth that has
gone since 300 to the 700 m inside the terrestrial crust, turned into
a kind of "gel."
Then the
throws of volcanic gas to tall temperature have changed the
limonite in emathite modeling the conformation of it until to
assume that actual spherical shape. The Moquis, after having
been exposed to the atmospheric agents for hundreds of million
of years, it would have suffered the erosive action of the sand
that would have polished up it and smooths. The most accredited
theory (and not fully accepted by the same geologists) it shows
a lot of gaps however if it is thought that 190 million years
ago, in the middle of Jurassic era, is supposed that the climate
and the vegetation were enough different from those of today,
also considering the recovery of ancient forests of petrified
redwoods. Then, if in the Jurassic the climate was very damp,
a luxuriant vegetation covered big part of the earths, as also
in other parts of the world where today desert are. But then,
if the Moquis Balls, how it has been esteemed, are so old and
probably have its form by the magmatic action and then from
that erosive of the desert sand, how have they arrived in an
area that desert it was not? And above all, how are they really
formed? And why only in Arizona and Utah and not in the desert
of Gobi or in the Sahara, that also showes traces of vulcanism?
The most amazing thing is that these iron little balls, from
that affirm the Navaho shamans of the place, they have energetic
and curative ownership of spiritual level. They emanate balanced
energies, protective and they absorb the negativities. The nucleus
in sandstone is a sand of silicon that has ownership comparable
to those of the crystal of quartz that is a balanced stone.
This way, the iron oxide, combined to the silicon, riequilibra
the in partnership energy to that of the chakras, the present
energetic vortexes in the human body. The natives shamans of
America used these stones for therapeutic purpose putting them
on the first one and the seventh chakra; purifying, with their
vibrations, all the energetic centers, while is setting on the
order it favored the clairvoyance. A lot of other ones are the
purifying ownerships of the stones, therefore it is also for
this motive that we hypothesize a possible artificial nature
of the mysterious Moquis Marbles. But who created them? A people
that lived 190 million years ago in Arizona? |
|
| (Above) In Arizona and Utah the Moquis
Marbles form real "rivers", accumulating themselves
in hollow and cracks among the rocks. Thousand and thousand
of spheres that cover the desert ground. |
